Realview TVs Website Re-launched

2010 // October

In a little role reversal, Realview TV officially re-launched its own website this month -- a significant step that showcases new, unique online media features while underlining the company’s strategic direction.

More emphasis on video content and pages dedicated to the education and hospitality industries are among noticeable additions to the new-look site, which has a few other interesting features.

An updated Realview TV player, a brand new set of portfolio pages, and graphic player movement on the front page -- so each player moves in and out upon landing – add enhanced interactivity.

“We often advise clients to re-launch their website as it’s a vital marketing tool, and our situation is no different,” said Gabe Romero, director of marketing, Realview TV. “We’re practicing what we preach.”

Romero said the process was painlessly efficient because the original site was flexibly designed.

“Companies evolve – both in what they do and how they do it – and it’s important that the same rule applies for a website, the commercial window,” said Romero. “When a website is designed without this flexibility, companies are typically reluctant to maintain a fresh outlook.”

The re-launch also reflects a new strategic direction aimed at strengthening a hold in the hospitality and education industries. With pages dedicated to these markets, viewers can watch examples of Realview TV’s wide-range of features in action.

“While all industries definitely benefit from online video, some features, such as the ‘Virtual Tour,’ are powerful for organizations needing to showcase a large area like a college campus, resort or hotel,” said Romero. “By shining more light on these features, we’re also sending a message that, regardless of the task, we have the video solution.”
