Fort Lewis College, SUNY Fredonia and Pacific Lutheran Go Live

2011 // October

It’s been a busy summer for our production team, whose endeavors have included the completion of Virtual Campus Experience projects for Fort Lewis College (FLC) and SUNY Fredonia as well as a revamp of Pacific Lutheran University’s (PLU) project that originally went live in December of 2009.

Launched in late September, the projects showcase on-campus sights and sounds from the perspective of current students, who act as tour guides for ‘virtual’ visitors.

“They turned out great,” said Realview TV Project Manager Jena Dowdee, whose role included liaising with staff from all 3 colleges to define and refine messaging content. “Representatives from FLC, Fredonia and PLU were a pleasure to work with and were very accommodating to the production guys.”

Our team spent several days at each institution filming various landmarks and interviewing students, faculty and a few alumni. The crew has racked up plenty of air miles en route to Tacoma, Washington, Durango, Colorado and Rochester, NY.

“Hats off to the production team – they’ve managed a heavy work load, putting in a lot of extra hours to launch these projects,” said Dowdee.
